My flat

I know that I probably won’t be able to keep this flat for long, but I intend to make the most of it while I can still afford it.  It’s still a bit empty as I have no ornaments or pictures on the wall yet, but I have most of the furniture I need.  The bedroom is still a bit of a mess, but that will change when my mum’s old dresser is delivered on Monday evening.

It’s quiet here and I don’t have to share this space with anyone else and be confined to just one room, as a result.  After a year of hell living with strangers in shared houses and Airbnb’s, this is indeed a respite, albeit most likely a temporary one.
